Our Mission
At Oregon City Music Academy, we believe every child has unlimited potential to develop musical ability. Musical talent is not simply something we are born with, but a skill that can be nurtured through professional instruction, encouragement, and practice. Through classical training and the Suzuki Method, our mission is to inspire a lifelong appreciation of music while helping students develop confidence, creativity, musicianship, and the skills to reach their full potential.
Our Process
We provide individualized, one-on-one instruction through classical training and the Suzuki Method, focusing on technique, repertoire, musicianship, and chamber music skills. Students participate in three semesters throughout the year, receiving 15–17 weekly private lessons per semester, depending on the semester’s length. Additional performance opportunities throughout the year are encouraged as essential practical experience, helping students build confidence and expand their repertoire. During the summer semester, flexible scheduling accommodates family vacations and activities while ensuring students receive their required lessons.
